I, Dr Ashish Jindal consider myself one of the select fortunate few who got this opportunity to be an aluminus of 1993 Batch of DC Model Senior Secondary School. Whatever I have achieved in life so far, the foundations were laid in the classrooms of my alma mater. Thank you to my esteemed principal sir and my teachers who nurtured me to become not only a successful professional but also a model citizen and an honest human being.

It is so hard to write one memory from DC Model, when there are so many, that come to my mind. Some of them are: good memories, mistakes, lessons of happiness, heartbreak, misfortune, joy, drama, and most importantly, fun. School life seemed to pass by really fast, almost too fast . I learned many valuable lessons of hard work and dedication and made lifelong friends. It was tough but overall a great experience.I still remember the extra math classes which Mr. Gupta used to take to prepare us for the Board Exams.One incident which we always discuss when old school friends meet is when we were in 10th class and all the boys bunked the class to watch India vs England match and the next day Mr. Gupta had scolded us in the morning assembly and that too on the stage in front of the school. The history song of the school “yeh kahani DC Model school ki…..aya shuru main ek bacha…..”. The friendships still last, the lessons learnt, the beautiful aesthetics of the school, along with all the special the teachers mean the world to me. This is the first school which I joined and studied till the last. Thanks to all the teachers, staff and friends as they have shaped my future. If the School has taught me anything it is that If you believe in yourself and you believe that you can achieve anything you want in life, it will happen to you. It would be great if you can send me a copy of the full history song of our school as I still don’t remember the complete song.

I really don’t feel that I am an ex-student of the school as over the last 26 years, I stayed connected and still am with the school, Gupta Sir and Mam and many of my favourite teachers at the school. Guidance and handholding by Gupta Sir and my teachers shaped me what I am today. When I joined the school, I was an extremely quite child and had no confidence to speak up even when I wanted to. Gupta Sir saw the spark and gave me the platform to bring out many skills in me. By the time I passed out from the school, within those 6 years my personality had completely changed and I was a confident teenager, beaming with energy, ready to face the world and leave my mark. The ability to innovate, thinking out of the box, giving back to the society, being humble and respectful are just among the many virtues I learnt unknowingly at the school and they stayed with me. And because of this strong foundation, I had the courage to explore my many talents and carve out a successful career for myself. I am proud of being a part of the DCMS family and ever grateful.

I have always felt that I was so lucky to be a student at DC Model School, and no other schools. The thing I admire most about D C Model High School is the support received from everyone. I wouldn't have been able to achieve what I have without that caring environment. It certainly made me a better person. "I truly believe that the education I received from D C Model has helped me tremendously in my career. There is not a day that goes by when I do not think about the time spent in D C Model. Thanks to B.B. Gupta Sir and every single teacher of D C model who has been a part of this long journey. Whatever I have achieved today is all because of love, care, scolding and above all the best education .

I was blessed to clear the entrance test conducted by D.C. Model School, to get admission in commerce stream, which become building block for my onwards journey. It was not only availability of Infrastructure, but personal support extended by Mr. & Mrs Gupta (Principal)during all ups and downs till I graduated and thereafter to continuously boost my confidence.I always recall one line of Principle Sir which enhanced my confidence whenever I was entangled in my family responsibilities and adverse financial situation, ‘what max can go wrong’, we in any case have School, which shall be able to absorb you’. Also, post my 12th exams, DCMS supported me with much needed part time job for student fees management and other support services, which helped me learn and take care of my family responsibilities while continuing my studies.Atmosphere at DCMS and support extended by surrounding noble people, helped me bring at par with student having desired mind set for growth and learning, as I moved ahead to complete the following: Graduation with 3rd Position from Govt. College Panchkula, Chartered Accountancy (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), Company Secretary (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) with Ist Rank in Tri-city,ICWA / ICMA (Institute of Cost Accounts of India) with 35th All India Rank. With constant learning and blessings, have been part of many big corporates like Bharti Airtel, Punj Lloyd, Lanco, Spray Engineering and Avantha. Now, with post qualification experience of 12+ years, I am placed as ‘Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary’ at ~ 60 Lacs annual (Including 10 lacs variable pay), with chemical division of Avantha Group with entity named Solaris Chemtech Industries Limited, managing overall finance, taxation, legal, secretarial and compliance matters. Companies workedBharti – Global Telecom Major having business across 20 Countries Punj Lloyd – Was known as Mini L&T during 2010 or so, is a major Engineering / Construction Company.

I feel privileged to be part of the D C Model family and growing with it. My journey with the school from entering as a nursery class student to being favorite student to playing role of Principal Ma’am at Teachers’ Day to writing this note as an alumnus is truly unforgettable. Every school time memory –lessons from learned teachers, writing exams, preparing for annual function, participation in inter-school competitions, to making life-long friends, brings a smile on my face. I owe my success to the strong foundation laid down by mix curriculum of studies and extra curriculars, healthy competition among students promoted at the school and the personal attention, support and constant encouragement given by the Principal Sir and all my school teachers. I can now confidently say that social development work supported by the Principal Sir has inspired me to take up my current international development career. My stay in school was really different from other students .Being the Principal’s son, I tried to hide my identity from others and most of time, I could manage. My father was against my participation in any event of school but I was favourite of my teachers. I represented school in badminton in Nationals and also had the opportunity to play at Dubai in the International Event. I was acknowledged as a great anchor, musician, singer and developed to be an all-rounder. But let me tell you it was not because of the encouragement from my parents. From the very beginning I was had a killing instinct. I used to see the marks of other competitors of my class before seeing my own. I owe my gratitude to all my teachers, specially madam Gopal Tanwar who taught me to play Casio and Kapoor Sir as my badminton coach .Its my proud privilege to share that, I am the co-author of 4 books related to Dermatology.With all humility , I would like to share my extensive work in the field of Dermatology has earned me various accolades as I have acquired authoritative Competence in my specialization.

Reflecting on the 8 years I spent at DCMS, I have come to realize how fortunate I was to attend the school. I was surrounded by great teachers and friends who not only cared for each other but showed me what it is like to have a second family. I was able to express myself through art and at DCMS, I learned the values and discipline to be a good human. As an adult, I continue to be blessed by the friendships that began at DCMS because of how close-knit our class was. For these reasons and plenty more, I will be forever grateful for my time at DCMS and the teachers that attributed to successes and accomplishments in my life thus far.

It is always nostalgic to think of the past life especially my school days. My school days experiences is also one of the most memorable phase of my life. When i look back at those a days smile automatically comes to my face. I don't really know weather that smiles is the expression of good experiences or bad experiences. But, i can certainly tell you that whatever it is I always learn from those experiences . Those experiences helps me to achieve my goals and dreams in my life . I am Gagandeep Saluja and I am a proud student of D.C Model Senior Secondary School – Sector 7 Panchkula, Haryana. I started my journey with this esteemed school as a student of KG class and moved out after completing 10th Class. This journey of more than 10 years has been both memorable and fruitful in terms of learning and shaping my identity. I owe so much to this great school and the great teachers who not only just made us good students but also guided us to follow the right path and which eventually has led me to where I am currently. Starting from our wisest Principal Sir and Ma’m and going on to the amazing staff of this great school , everyone has been so supporting throughout my journey. Being a Technology Lead now with an amazing MNC and having passed all the college life, I still remember all the school days and all the credit goes to the great teachers who have made the journey memorable for us. It’s been 8 years now that I have been working with India’s top IT Service Providers and it would not be wrong to say that the values that I got from my school have helped me at each and every step to shape my career starting from leading a team of members at job and coming to my individual work, the base that was constructed by my teachers during my young days have been the driving force. I have completed my schooling from DC Model School in the year 2005 for which i feel privileged and blessed. Here the faculty taught me that we should never aspire to be someone else, instead explore our unique qualitues. The teachers here have vision to see you and wisdom to judge you to make u a better person by making learning comfortable and enjoyable. I was a single parent child but the school authorities saw my keenness to learn and offered me scholarship that helped me become what i am today. Today I am a well-settled independent woman with a respectable job and proud to have been a part of DC Model, proud to be Indian and State Bank of indian. I was a student at D.C. Model School in Panchkula and passed my 10th standard with 94% marks in 2005. I then got selected for MBBS at Government Medical College in Amritsar. I was interested in pursuing advanced studies in USA and hence cleared United States Medical Licensing examinations. I got selected for Advanced Anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia after completing Surgical internship at University of Arizona in Tucson. I then matched for fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the prestigious ivy league institute - Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. From July 2020, I will be working as Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Vermont. I genuinely believe that my education and moral upbringing from D.C Model School has always helped me in every phase of my life and career.

Finding the right path to success at the right time is really very important and for that way I had selected DCMS. The friendly environment, the systematic approach towards imparting education made me a competent individual. The wide range of activities- both curricular and co-curricular- along and the support from School faculty is really very helpful for my future. The faculties are really very kind and approachable when any need arises. The ambience of the school has always been so positive and encourages to learn. The relation between faculty and student is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel further. The six years spent here was splendid and has helped me excel professionally as well as personally. Apart from academic, department offers various opportunity to enjoy our school days. D.C. Model : Influences Self to Serve…….. As D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School brings out the new prospectus, I feel greatly honoured and privileged to pen down a few lines on the mellifluous, undying memories of this life transforming institution where I have studied for 10 years from 1996 to 2006 and also served as the Head Girl . Today I credit most of my professional pursuits and achievements in life to the committed administrators and mentors of D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School especially Sir Bharat Bhushan Gupta and Madam Usha Gupta who also helped me discovermy inner spiritual world and the importance of true service in life. D.C. Model not only provided a dexterous approach to the academic scenario but also paved the way for cultural, scientific and sporting lifestyle. It made me learn how to kaleidoscopically balance the two spheres (the Scholastic and Co- Scholastic). I still cherish some of the memorable moments from Morning Assembly,basket ball tournaments, Inter House Competitions, Sports Day, Annual Day, Summer Camp and educational tours that embellish my wardrobe of memories. I can confidently say that this Temple of Learning have been largely instrumental into influencing me towards choosing the medical profession and I really feel blessed that on becoming a doctor, I have this great opportunity of serving the people.Today many of the alumni of the Academy have reached the highest echelon in organizations of repute internationally making us and the school proud. Friends this DCM group of schools has given me what I had never thought in my life.Today whatever I am is just because of this DCM group of schools.Friends this school came in my life as a miracle and changed my life. I got the chance to study in this school although I belong to a poor family. To study in this school is just like a dream for a child like me. I had studied here from 6th class to 10th class. And I never felt that I am from a poor family. Principal Sir and the teachers supported and motivated me always with many chances to show my inner talent. Today I am working as a Yoga Teacher in Hongkong just because of this school. I have got the chance to teach yoga in my school. My Teachers pushed me a lot to participate in sports activities as I was not good in studies. The teachers of this school knew me more than my parents that's why they encouraged me toward yoga .And today whatever I am is all because of the guidance of my teachers and my School. If someone asked me what I have learned from my school, I won’t be able to answer it in one sentence. It has been a delight and privilege to be a part of this institution. Supported by strong foundation laid down by my school, I cleared the prestigious IIT-JEE entrance exam, BITSAT, secured AIR-233 (7th rank in Chandigarh region) in AIEEE exam, simultaneously securing 3rd rank in UPSC’s Special Class Railway Apprentice exam. Opted for the lateral one and presently serving in Indian Railways as an IRSME Officer. I am also serving as Officer in Indian Army with Raiwlay Engineers Regiment of Territorial Army, thereby proudly serving as an officer under Indian Railways and Indian Army.I bow my head to express my gratitude to all my teachers as well as school for grooming me, supporting me and boosting up my confidence to elevate to such positions for serving my country. "I did most of my schooling at DC Model school. As students, we were lucky to have excellent teachers who explained concepts to us and did not make us cram anything. There was a healthy competition among students and all the students were helpful towards each other. There were multiple co-curricular activities that we could take part in along with academics. I have been a student of DC Model Senior Secondary School for more than 10 years from 1996-2007 and everyday has been a great learning experience. If you hear your parents or teachers saying that you are going to miss this school once you are out of here, this stands absolutely right. This epiphany is only realised when you set your foot in the real world. I miss every bit of it and I am very proud to say that DC Model School built the foundation of the person that I am today and where I am today. To the students of the school, I would like to say that no matter how parents, teachers, your mentors or situations in school seems hard, all this is prepping you for the real world which is much daunting. School time is the best time to set a foundation of what future holds for you. Talk to your teachers, express your interest, seek guidance, be confident in your skin and who you are, understand your fears and insecurities and work on them. Cherish this time to the fullest. The staff and the teaching faculty puts in a lot of efforts in bringing the best of you. The way my teachers irrigated and molded me, my future is the fruit of the same and I am relishing every bit of it. It gives me an immense pleasure in calling myself proudly an alumnus of this great educational academy D C model Sr. Sec School. I passed 10th (92%) back in 2008 from here taught by various veteran teachers having experience of more than 20-25 years. The part that I loved the most is that there was balance of academic and personal bonding between the teachers and students duo. I would like to mention that I was not even able to crack admission test of the school, but because of the generosity of our Respected principal sir Shri Bharat Bhushan Gupta, I got admission on one condition that I will prove my mettle which gave me the real motive to prove my worth to everyone. Now ,talking about my achievements, I graduated from PU as IT Engineer, Worked as Senior Software Engineer in an MNC then decided to choose different path, cracked 7 govt. jobs in a span of 1.5 years. I worked as Assistant Manager in State Bank of India, then got AIR 89 in SSC, and got selected as Assistant Section Officer(IFS-B) in Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, where I will be getting various opportunities to work in different parts of the world in Indian Embassies with various ambassadors. So, in the nutshell, I don't have an iota of doubt that the foundation that was laid by the teachers of this school, made me so successful in my life. I was, am and will always be grateful to them and would offer my achievements as a tribute to them.

It was a wonderful experience for me being part of DC Model School, and it is my privilege that I am still part of DC Model family as an alumni. I have many sweet and unforgettable memories within. Getting educated by skilled and scholarly teachers, being involved in social and cultural events and making life long friends will always be with me for life. I think that, of all my childhood memories, the strongest are from when I was in school. DCMS has not only been an important part of my childhood memories but also has an incredibly special place among all. Under the mentorship of Respectable Principal Sir and my teachers who laid the foundation by their personal and focused support throughout the journey has given me not only the academic knowledge but also polished me for social and personal development. Their repeated encouragement gave me the chance to participate and stand out at various academic, sports, and cultural activities. I was in school for seven long years and spending those seven years gave me a handful of memories, be it the fun at the canteen with friends or getting tough lessons from the teachers. The exposure I got at the school level through various competitions, inter-school debates, annual functions, or other co-curricular activities gave me the confidence to stand for the future. One of the strongest things I remember was the Gayatri Mantra being played at regular intervals. It really adds the values which remain a vital part of the learning age. So, when I look back on my class photograph, I smell the nostalgic scent of all the tiny bits of fun that turned into a ball of amusement. I will forever be grateful to DC Model School, because it is here that I meaningfully spent the formative years of my life. What sets the school apart from other schools is that in addition to curriculum & extra-curricular, a lot of emphasis is laid on inculcating moral values in the students. While may excel in the former two anytime later in our lives as well, the latter is what matters ultimately. It is these values that help one is segregating all the gray areas in their lives succinctly as black and white. “THE SCHOOL LIFE IS ONE OF THE HAPPIEST TIMES I EVER HAD” It was really a wonderful experience. The school days are the best days of my life. I clearly remember my first day at School. I can still feel how warmly i was welcomed at School though i cried a lot (my Mother use to say this thing). That warm welcome truly defines the importance of school life for a child. There are lots and lots of memories of mine at my school. I always use to participate in extra curricular activities like debate competition, inter house competitions, basket ball matches, painting and handwriting competition and yes I have been awarded for many competitions. Studies and extra curricular activities both plays an important role as we get good learning experience, the self confidence, motivation and the will to do the best. Now a day’s m working as a Senior Project Engineer in a MNC and also by passion m a Singer which helps me in reducing stress in daily life. I wish success and blessings for all the students. At last i just want to say just make some goals and work hard and smart to achieve them because life is nothing without any goal.

It was an amazing journey spending 13 years in D.C Model Sr. Sec School. The faculty is experienced and approachable. The relation between faculty and student is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel further. The thirteen years spent here was splendid and has helped me excel professionally as well as personally. Apart from academics, the school offers various extracurricular activities which helped me develop moral values.Sports, Community activities, group assignments, mock tests, etc., were helped me personally to groom myself in 360 degrees for higher education. My days in DCMS reminds me of one colorful stage of my life which I cherish forever. My learning years in school was flooded with unforgettable events and activities like quizzes, sports events, competitions etc that added feathers in my persona. I had read somewhere that an individual's social and intellectual stimulation begins at school. Today, after more than a decade of passing out from the school, I think it's true. I was extremely fortunate to spend 10 years amongst some of the best teachers.I studied at D C Model Sr. Sec. School from 1998-2008, but the memories of those years under principal Sir Shri B.B. Gupta are still afresh. It feels like yesterday, when my drawing teacher Anju Ma'am would force me to participate in various competitions. Thanks to her, I eventually realized that I had a good knack for art, and it continues to be my hobby and a great stress buster till this day. Sonia Bhatia ma'am would help me with science stuff as well as personal growth. Sneh ma'am taught us to be down to earth and mold ourselves as per the situation similar to the workshop where we made utensils using Multani Mitti and many more teachers helped pave the way for what I am today.Those years shaped me up to be hard-working, and played a role in me getting admission in JUET for my B.Tech. I was fortunate enough to work at Infosys for 2 years. A strong building needs a solid foundation, and I guess, the school was my foundation; and I reached the ultimate goal when I got admission into IIM Udaipur. Post my MBA, I worked for a couple of years with Bombay Shaving Company. Now I have joined my current employer FirstCry, where I manage Product Development for various categories.While all this comes with one's own efforts, the school taught me the meaning of hardwork, and those values shaped me to achieve more in life. If there is one thing I would like for you young dream-makers to always remember, "This is the beginning, of anything you want."

I'm feeling extremely delighted and proud to share my experience on the Wall of Fame as an Alumni of DCM. It was 1996 when I stepped in this school and that was the moment when my success was destined. The foundation pillar of my life is so strong that no failure can shake it. Each and every day for the 13 years of my life, I was acquiring not only knowledge but the moral values, the principles of life and everything which a student needs to become a good human being. I am so blessed to call myself as a student of this GURUKUL which is still enlightening the way of my life. Today, I am a Chartered Accountant working in one of the Biggest Accounting Companies of the world "PwC", an Author of 6 books, a poet and 10 times National Speaker. It's all because of this school where I was taught to fight with all the odds of life and achieve the milestone.

I feel great pleasure to reminisce that i was a student of this esteemed temple of knowledge and i must acknowledge that the time i had spent in DC Model was the best time of my life and those days were purely blissful. Getting the chance to pursue my master's degree from Queen's University, one of Canada's top 10 universities, has been a great learning experience for me. It taught me the importance of taking actions because nothing changes if we sit idle and make no effort.To all the students who are facing difficulties, I would like to give this sincere advice that it's "okay" not to score the highest marks in the class but "not okay" not to put your maximum effort. Our objective in life should be to learn not for the exams but for life itself, enjoy every bit of the journey and let the chips fall where they may.

Who doesn’t have a memory? So do I but my school memories will always be my number one .There are numerous good memories and people from that place, many of whom I am still close with to this day. After completing my higher schooling from D. C. Model Sr. Sec. School, I went on to do my graduation in Commerce with Economic Honours. And post that, I decided to pursue my career in Management with Masters in Human Resources. I started my career with a manufacturing plant as an HR officer and now, currently working as an HR Generalist and BPHR with a leading Nordic IT Solution MNC. Now, my next target is PhD with expertise in Industrial Relationship. I am grateful to the management of DCMS and all the mentors, guides, teachers, friends for teaching all the noteworthy lessons and for indulging me in the habits of ethical practices, hard work and dedication which are still helping me grow every day.

My journey start from school life in D.C Model Sr. Sec school from Class “pre-nursery to 10th Class”.I wants to share my life experience journey start from school to professional life. School life is very important part of one's life, because it provides opportunity for study and discipline. Besides these, the school life is a preparatory stage for entering public life. We read together, play together and sit together. Also as the time passes .. we are growing day by day and my mind have some youthful dreams which I really want to make it true. Journey of my life till now be an amazing but the school life is wonderful and the most important Teachers plays the virtual role in the lives of students. They teaches us virtues like as perseverance, sincerity, truthfulness, tolerance, discipline and obedience developed in pupils and also how to think rather than what To think. Graduated from MMU, I specialise in Advanced Root Canal Treatments from DACE(U.S.A.) and Academy of Advanced Endodontics. Also Cosmetic Dentist, I have a Fellowship in Aesthetic Dentistry from University of Greifswald(Germany) and ILAMED in my name. I am greatly thankful to the prestigious institute for helping me in all aspects of the shaping years of my life.

I owe my success of becoming SDM of Haryana after qualifying my HCS Exam to honourable Sh. BB Gupta , my school Principal , Mrs. Vimmi Goyal, my Maths teacher, Mrs. Sushmita Sharma, my English teacher and my Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Ritu Godara for their precious guidance and mentoring. When i was at school, I used to think that 'college life' is perhaps the best phase of a person's life. When i moved to college, I started getting the notion that graduating with good grades and getting hold of a well-paying job were the two factors that would lead to a happy, satisfying life.Now, when i have a good job and the eternal burden of responsibilities, I think I can say, without any doubt, that the best phase of my life was none other than the time spent at my second home, which i am always proud to mention - D.C. The term 'school-life' isn't just a combination of two words, it is a flood of lovely memories that often makes me emotional in retrospect.My friends, my lovely teachers, some dreadful subjects and a worry-free life is how i would like to sum up my school life in two sentences. Isn't it funny that we as human beings keep thinking about the future and as we keep on advancing, how badly we want to go back to where it all started.There are a lot of people whom i am indebted to for a great school life specially to Mr BB Gupta and all teachers. School memories are cherished by everyone. I passed out in 2011 and currently doing MBBS in GMCH-32.Today the name of DCMS is enough to send me down the memory lane of nostalgic school memories of wearing uniforms, entertaining school activities, school trips, fear of completing homework and what not.But I believe that lessons taught in school have a long lasting impact. Not just academics, my school has helped me shape my character in terms of discipline, social skills, respect and making me realise my own potential to face a bigger school-The World. Hello DCians, I am Manav Khanna an alumni of DC Model school. Currently I am pursuing my Masters in Yonsei University, South Korea. I passed out from Senior Secondary class in 2011 and graduated in 2013. I had this prestigious opportunity to study in DC on a fully funded scholarship provided by our Principal Mr Bharat Gupta. All thanks to our wonderful Principal and mentors for providing this wonderful platform to enhance my skills and knowledge without any financial burden and worries. Although it was a very tough financial period of my life, the support made it possible for me to continue my studies. I will never forget their humble support and love for me. I must admit that joining DC was one of the best decisions of my life. I had the opportunity to study under wonderful teachers who helped me a lot and always supported me throughout my stay there. I have lots of beautiful memories with my friends who were like a family to me. I used to stay on the school campus so it was like a residential school for me and so it was a little different for me than other students. It was like a second home for me. I met a lot of people there and gained various experiences through participation in various activities. Life in DC is lot of fun and exciting as we not only focus on studies but also on overall growth of a student. The classes were always fun and not boring; the games and physical activity classes were my all-time favourite. I will always remember the time I spent in DC. I would like to thank the teachers who have taught me so well and guided me in tough times of my life. I was very fortunate to have Mrs. Ritu Godara (Chemistry), Mr. Nijhawan (Physics), Mrs. Vimmy Goyal/Sonia Bansal (Mathematics), Mrs. Sushmita (English) as my teachers. I am not sure if they are still a part of DC but they were truly an inspiration to me. Being a Satya Sai devotee, I used to attend weekly bhajans with Principal Sir which was very helpful for my spiritual growth as well. He always reminded me of good deeds and used to say, “Love all serve all”, “Learn to give not to take, learn to serve not to rule” which became part of my life and are very helpful in my day to life. He always taught me patience and humbleness. I would like to suggest the students to learn as much as they can in school as the values learnt in this period of life will always stay with you and help you along the tougher times which you will face in the future. In my experience I would say that being a part of DC helped me a lot. The environment in DC helped me grow as a person and developed my personality. For me, DC Model was a stepping stone to success. School is a place where the foundations for future are laid and a place where the students not only get educated but also groomed to be better citizens capable of contributing to the society. The teachers of DC Model School play the essential role of a mentor and guide thus leading to well-groomed individuals ready to conquer their aspirations. The extremely helpful Senior management, all staff members and supporting staff, build an atmosphere of constant motivation, support and zeal which imbibes in the students the self-confidence required to excel in all endeavours they plan to take up. DCMS is much more than a school to me. It is family. I cannot fully express how much this school means to me. I have made friendships that have evolved to family. Best thing about this school is that it takes an innovative approach to education that truly nurtures the creativity and education of the students while enhancing their ability to successfully communicate with people at all levels. Whenever I pass through the premises of my School, I become all the more emotional recalling my old days at my school. While starting my journey in school as an average student, I never had any lack of attention, love and warmth from my teachers like Sneh Maam, Kavita Maam, Ritu Maam, Monika Maam, Vimmi Maam, Bano Maam and many mentors or even Principal Sir and Maam, which always brought cheers for me to come to school everyday without fail. Maybe the School and the staff understood it fundamentally that no matter a kid being average in his school time might make extra ordinary big in the real world provided that kid is given the affection and attention throughout with blend of ethics and discipline. Managing today as a Program Head for couple of MBA Programs for Chitkara University or Heading the Strategic Initiatives at one of the growing Private Ltd company or acting as an Independent Trainer on Data Modelling/Digital Marketing, I carry upon me different hats and manage the multi tasks/responsibilities with ease. With passion inherited and discipline/ethics imbibed from my school, I wish to contribute in giving back what I have learnt so far in my journey to the young pillars of my school anytime my school calls for!!

I attended D C Model from pre nursery to 10th grade, DCM’s strong, consistent curriculum and dedicated faculty was a bedrock foundation that prepared me for the challenges of college and now, my career. This, among other things, has made me more aware than ever of the great privilege to have had a private education at DCM. I often credit a large portion of my success at this point in my life to the firm foundation I received in high school. The small class sizes were beneficial not only because of the ability to get individualized attention from teachers, but also with the development of my leadership potential in a plethora of activities, athletics, and other opportunities available to students. Throughout my time in college, I often felt more prepared than some of my classmates because of the liberal approach to education and the emphasis on college readiness early on in our academic career. As an adult, I continue to be blessed by friendships that began at DCM because of how close-knit the student body is. For these reasons and more, I will be forever grateful for my time at DCM and the teachers that attributed to the successes in my life thus far.

I merely have a hundreds of enticing memories to reminisce in the course of 12 years of my schooling at DCMS. I was one of the most notorious kids of my batch yet I made it to where I am today which I solely owe to the DCMS staff itself (Teaching and Non-teaching).Teachers at DCMS are not only adept when it comes to classroom training novices but they provide a very homely environment which eventually helps them grow outside the school premises as well.

When I say the word school, I travel back to 2003 when I had put my footsteps first time into the place which not only gave me the supreme education but also taught me the ideals, values and morales that succoured me to consummate my dream and made me capable of proudly serving the nation. It makes me nostalgic to admire the fact that I had an honour to have such wonderful staff and mates whom I can cherish for life. I will forever be grateful to my school for making me the man I am and inculcating the spirit to reckon as a Gentleman Warrior.

Remembring the days when I was studying and having the best days of my life in D.C. Model. One of the most caring teachers and encouraging mentor one could get. The number of opportunities and knowledge that I got here are the reason what I have become today. I spent 15 years of my life (Pre-nursery to +2) at DCMS and I could not be more thankful to my parents for sending me here. Not only was I prepared academically here, but also, I was given the apt amount of exposure to sports, music and art. For me, the best part of DCMS had been its staff. Along with being proficient in the subjects they teach, teachers were understanding, encouraging and pro-active in dealing with the problems at individual level. Undoubtedly, I was able to utilise my time quite efficiently here as I never fell short of a helping hand guiding me in the right direction. Their combined effort and support was the leading reason behind me making it to IIT Guwahati. Besides scoring high grades in studies, I also represented IITG in the Inter-IIT Sports Meet in Cricket. In my final year, I got placed on the very first day of placements in my first interview itself at a highly reputed bank that is Credit Suisse. Presently, I am enjoying my work at CS. Everything I learnt at DCMS has stayed with me throughout and will stay forever in me.

The most important thing in life is hard work and the environment and each and every thing of this school imbibes that in the children successfully. While emphasising on teaching the subjects, the school never fails to highlight and teach the importance of morals and ethics which are essential in life. Along with it society is discussed at large.And fun part in school life was the freedom it offers to the students regarding putting forth your opinions and the sports of the school had made the best memories that I can ever have. I was born in Kurukshetra and my family moved to Panchkula when I was twelve. I received high school diploma from DC Model School in 2013. The care and dedication I received as a student played an important role in my life. Through my disciplined instructors, I learned the importance of time which honed my skills of time management. I am glad that extracurricular activities were given equal importance at DCMS as education. Blood donation camps, annual sports events and inter school events were a few of the activities our school used to involved with. After high school, I followed my dream and moved to Victoria in the province of British Columbia, Canada. I did Business Administration Diploma in Accounting and graduated from Camosun College in 2016. I am an avid cricketer and have met/practised with lots of player from Indian National cricket I appreciate DCMS's competent and encouraging staff because their words are the sparks that light up our children’s future. This is an appreciation cum gratitude post from my school – D C Model Senior Secondary School and for all the dedicated teachers who have taught me to recognize me to recognize the way to lead to what I am. I am thankful to the curriculum, elaborative teaching and wonderful learning environment of the school which help me throughout my D C Model journey. I’m glad that my teachers still remember me. The teaching as well as the non-teaching staff including the receptionists, librarians, drivers, caretakers and other staff members who take care of each student and helps him/her grow personally as a fantastic human being. I take pride in saying that I have studied from D C Model group (2000-2013). After that I did my bachelors in computer application from Panjab University (2013-2016). Then I moved to Canada for post-graduation in Information Technology (2017-2018). Currently, I’m working as an Operation Analyst in one of the reputed companies of Canada. I have been in D.C. Model School from Kg till 10th. From starting only, our Principal Sir has taught us the values that I took forward and got selected. I would like to thank my teachers who have always supported me and taught the best learnings. I have won many state and district awards with 2 times national participation in painting till 10th. I give credit for brushing up my overall personality to the place I cherish. Before giving Service Selection Board interview, I went to school also to meet principal sir but he was in chennai. I took blessings from Saraswati Mata and went back. My school friends Lalit, Aayush and Kinjal helped me a lot for preperation. I got 10 cg in class 10th. I feel so proud in saying that I have been a part of an excellent academy of knowledge. I must say that the life spent in DC model was the best part of my life which I want to relive everyday. It feels great pleasure to say that whatever I am today is just because of the lovely teachers and our all time supportive principal Sir Mr BB Gupta. The foundation years of a kid’s life are the most crucial years and I am fortunate that I spent my childhood at D C Model, the best place I could have asked for. D C Model has always been home to me and the faculty has been my family. Though it has been long since I graduated from school,yet the memories are afresh and the bonds created have just deepened over time. D C Model provided me with a plethora of opportunities, be it in the field of creative writing, public speaking, quizzing, leadership or social work. The school provided me various platforms where I unleashed my hidden potentials and realized my true worth. The pedagogy of DCM is truly unmatchable. The focus is always on clarity of concepts and logic whereas rote learning takes a backseat at DCM. Recently, I was attending a verbal session at a coaching institute where grammar rules were being taught. While the other students were cribbing, “Why aren’t we taught these things in school?” I was the one who proudly said to the verbal trainer that I was taught in school each and every thing that was discussed in the class today. Same is the case for all other subjects. The more I interact with students from various parts of the country, the more blessed I feel to be taught by such wonderful teachers!

It gives me immense pleasure and great opportunity to share my views about my second home ie DCMS. This school is not just a place to study and pass out. It is a place with which I have a deep connection and it is more than a temple for me. The Director, the Principal, the teachers and the staff - they are the building blocks l whereas students are considered the heart of the school. This school has given me what no other place can ever give. It has given me the exposure, due to which I stand where I am. A special tribute to not only the senior teachers but my kindergarten teachers who taught me the ABC of life and to write and to speak. I am proud to say that I was the head boy for two years of this prestigious institution. In year (2020) I have secured an MBBS seat in AIIMS Bilaspur, HP.I would like to thank my school (D.C.Model.Sr.Sec.School) for helping me achieve this. I have started my schooling from DC Model Sr.Sec.School only. And I think that was a great decision from my parents because whatever I am doing today most of the credit goes to the school as it taught me discipline and to maintain it throughout my life. I got some really good competitors which helped me to perform well in academics and also to realize my true potential.And yes there are a lot of teachers who encouraged me but specially Vishali Mam was the one who helped me to improve my academic performance.
